King of Hearts

“One often takes a leap of faith in blindness. Blindness requires leaps of faith.”

When alarming amounts of a missing man’s blood is found in the alley, I do what I do best…investigate. Unfortunately, the only lead I have turns out to be a dead end, and nothing more than a dementia riddled woman’s imagination.

Or so I thought—and then a whirring vortex opens, and I am forced to take a leap of faith. Nothing will stop me from solving my case. Not even a strange new Land of Wonder...or the devilishly handsome sheik King of Hearts.
