Bio

I began writing about six years ago after giving up my job as an A-level Psychology teacher to look after my three small children. I love being a mum, but I felt I wanted/needed something for myself, so I set about writing a couple of short stories and began a blog. I've always loved reading, but one evening, when I couldn't find anything I wanted to read, I decided to have a go at writing a book, the kind I like to read. Suddenly, I found myself transported into a whole new world and I couldn't stop! Tagan's Child was born. It was all I could do to not get up in the mornings and not switch on my laptop to carry on from where I had left off the night before, it felt as if the characters might carry on without me if I didn't. But my children need to eat, right? So once I'd given them their breakfast and packed them off to school, I sat down at my laptop and wrote. I liked teaching, but I had found something I LOVED! Since then I have written the second in the series, Tagan's Chance and I am in the process of writing Tagan's Choice, the third and final book.

I live in the beautiful Kent countryside with my husband, three children, four horses, two dogs, and two hens. I am so incredibly lucky to have such a supportive husband, friends and family, as well as being surrounded by diverse wildlife and rolling hills which provide such a wonderful backdrop against which to write. Like most people, I've had some tough times, but on the whole I'm a pretty positive person. My approach to life is summed up in the following quote: "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called 'life'." Which I guess is saying, we're in it together so let's look after each other!

It's been nearly two years since I published my first book and what a journey it's been! There have been fans of my books who have been there from the beginning and who continue to show their support, along with new readers, on a daily basis. All I can say is that I cannot thank you enough, I honestly couldn't do this without you!
