Bio

JC is excited for her debut novel THE REFINING. She first wrote this story for stage in 2014. It was performed as a musical called ‘The Singers”. JC wrote the book and nine original songs for the musical, but the story never left her mind. In 2020 JC decide to adapt the story for The Refining series.

JC Brown has been writing, directing, acting, and stage managing for over 10 years. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Toronto and a diploma in acting from Sheridan College.

JC lives in the Greater Toronto Area with husband Keaton and kids Charlotte and Caleb. JC is a devoted Christian and actively serves at her local church.
