Maybe as part of "first child" conditioning, all my life I seem to have had a curiosity about and fascination with making things better for people, and no doubt that's why as a young woman, 40 years ago, I turned to the helping professions for a home that provided fascination, inspiration, and no end of "stuff" to make better.Then some 20 years ago, as well as continuing to provide therapy and training, I moved into clinical research, which you might think is rather dry, but which is in reality tremendously exciting, as you'll see when you test this stuff out for yourself ...
I get so inspired and excited about quality research, because when that research intelligently, skilfully and honestly tests something, it has the potential to bring better health and more joy to the whole world. Who wouldn't get excited about that.
I believe my own research has identified strategies and techniques which probably work faster and better than anything else you may have tried, in terms of achieving desired changes, because they show how to change your actual conditioning, so your desired outcomes occur automatically.
You won't find these methods elsewhere for two reasons: firstly, this is my own work, and secondly, it is completely different from the health, wellness, and self-improvement material you will find elsewhere. Part of my mission involves backing up what I preach with online training and support for health professionals and the general public.
It's only by forming these communities that we can create changes that benefit far more people, across a wide range of psychological challenges. A book alone is interesting. A book supported by a community can become a movement that changes the way things are done, and positively adds to the lives of so many more people.
In my personal life I live with husband John in Perth, Western Australia, am "mum" to 4 grown adults that I'm very proud of, "nanna" to 6 beautiful grandkids and "human" to golden retrievers Royce and Evie.
