BioK. A. Parker was born in the sunny, multicultural melting pot known as Los Angeles, California. Although her interest in writing can be traced back to her time spent in kindergarten, where she wrote a short story titled “The Worst Summer Ever” on six-by-six-inch pieces of white paper, it was not until she read Eoin Colfer’s Artemis Fowl in fourth grade that she ultimately decided to become a fiction writer and dedicate herself to the craft. Since then, she has graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, a Creative Writing Emphasis in Fiction, and a minor in Japanese Language and Literature. When she is not writing, she enjoys being a Dungeon Master, composing music, watching anime, and unlocking all the unlockable content in her video game collection.

The Art of Capturing Phantoms and Other Short Fiction
Excerpt from Preface: "What follows is approximately 30,000 words of literary experiments—fallen fruits from my palm tree of a subconscious whose seeds I extracted, planted, and watched sprout. Put less metaphorically, most of these short fiction pieces were created during freewriting sessions for a weekly flash fiction series I had on my blog and, briefly, for a Patreon campaign. A few exceptions were created years back and also posted on the blog."
