I was born in and near Liverpool, England. I came to Canada as a small child with my parents and younger sister. I am a Law Clerk by profession.

I am married to my husband Dave, and have two children David (32) and Abigail (17). I have two male guinea pigs named Reese and Marble. I decided as my mother is getting older to tell the world about the abuse she suffered at school in England because she came from a poor family.
