Bio

Greg Gountanis is the author of The Lance Gedrin Mystery Series. The first two novels are scheduled for release in both ebook and paperback in Fall 2020. Greg’s writing has received early praise for its wit and grit and readers wholeheartedly agree that Gedrin is the perfect hero for our times: a rugged boxing champ who loves conflict and rights wrongs whenever he finds trouble.

Greg received his B.A. in the Teaching of English from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. When he’s not writing, Greg posts weekly videos on his Youtube Channel, motivating writers on their writing journey. Greg also enjoys being in a courtroom, where he remains a practicing attorney. He works as an Assistant Public Defender in Chicago, zealously advocating for the rights of the underprivileged.
