ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Originally from the South Island of New Zealand, Lou Vane now lives in Adelaide, Australia with her partner and two young sons, where she’s a full-time mum and writer.
Growing up in NZ, Lou spent many weekends hiking in mountainous areas filled with hidden hot springs, waterfalls and lakes, and then later visited the geothermal wonderland of Iceland on her overseas travels.
Lou’s memories of these remarkable places form the backdrop for Fortune Falls, and her hidden interest in prepping and love of post-apocalyptic tales provided the creative spark that inspired her to write this story.
Fortune Falls is Lou Vane’s first novel.
