CD Sharpe is a mystery thriller author whose novels are shaped by a life of action, leadership, and resilience. A Gulf War veteran, she began her career in high-security roles with the U.S. Air Force and later as a government contractor, protecting sensitive information in challenging environments. Her expertise spans private protection, where she honed her understanding of human behavior, to search and rescue operations as a K9 unit coordinator and incident commander, bringing vivid realism to her stories.

CD has also held senior leadership roles in a Fortune 500 company, guiding teams through complex challenges. As a cancer survivor and world traveler who has visited over 40 countries, she draws inspiration from her diverse experiences. CD has four dogs and three Maine Coon cats and when she’s not writing or speaking on leadership and resilience, she enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and kayaking with her partner.

By pursuing her dream of becoming an author, CD hopes to inspire others to chase their own dreams and embrace the journey to become the person they’re meant to be.
