Sounds like a very dark and dangerous Christmas getaway.
Great Book, always enjoys a good thriller.
I read this book via Prolific works earlier in the year. The cover is fantastic and the story really delivers on the promise. So hard to get a new angle on crime fiction, but the Anna Scavolini mysteries find a unique entry point. Also, for newbie authors, everything about Michael's approach is worth studying. His website, mailing list management and promotional strategy have become a benchmark for me as I begin my own journey as an indie author.
Wow! What a plot. Well executed. I look for more from this author.
Seems like an engaging murder mystery.
A beautifully written thriller with great, original characters and an atmospheric setting.
This engrossing, suspense-filled mystery kept me reading nonstop, not only for the twisting, fast-paced story but also for the unique dialogue and fascinating milieu of contemporary Scotland. A real page-turner. Highly recommended.
Anna hasn't been to Glasgow for ten years, and on her first time back she stumbles on an old boyfriend bleeding to death. Heartbroken, Anna decides to investigate his death and unearths a trail of secrets that goes back a decade. The crime is so horrific that anyone who tries to solve the mystery will be in a great deal of danger. A fantastic fast paced caper that kept me turning the pages throughout. Highly recommended.
M. R Mackenzie is a talented writer. Can't wait for more work from this author.
