I loved the sense of suspense underlying most of the story, which almost drips of the page during moments of edge-of-the-seat intensity. Especially, the "aftermath of a battle" phrase itself sends a lot of chills and vivid imagery running down one's spine, so ... to be short, it was awesome.
I read the first few pages of this one and I want to know more about Commander Johnson and the hunter-killers. This book seems like good sci-fi action and drama right from page one, coupled with the hook of wanting to know what happened to put the crew in this horrible position. Check this book out!
I love Alasdair Shaw's work, and I've been following him for years now. You won't be disappointed!
As a fun of stories about unexpected new facts, these tales are just what I wanted.
Tautly paced action and skillfully written, this short story left me wanting more.
Looks like a great Mil Sci-Fi read!
A wonderful collection put together by an immensely talented author! Escape to worlds that are both like and yet unlike our own. Great world building, pulse pounding action and believable characters, it has it all!
Cover is fabulous! Can’t wait to read this one!
I love a good space battle and this author did not disappoint. And so many twists and turns you almost need a road map to finish this engrossing read.
This is one great space series. I read all four of the books in a matter of one weekend. Hope more is to come...
