Bio

If I could introduce myself the way Daenerys Targaryen does, then it would probably sound like this:

mother of two children and the Clan of the Woodlands series,

drinker of two cups of coffee a day,

admirer of the Whippet and the Thoroughbred,

breaker of every single diet after two weeks,

loser of important ID’s,

caretaker of eleven hens,

minder of my own business and

lover of forests and mountains.

I don’t see myself as an author, but rather a person with stories in her head, and the ability to string words together to a sentence. As a writer, I don’t hesitate to touch on controversial subjects, because I love to ask myself the question What would happen if? The dynamics between a man and a woman have always fascinated me, and I hope my books will take you on the same rollercoaster ride they take me as I type them. Did you know that I am originally from Germany? Otherwise, the Clan of the Woodlands series would probably have been published years ago. But it took me eight years of living in the US until I finally felt confident enough to write and publish in English.
